When I do an acoustic show, I play 3 chords. I call it the “3 chord song”. We play a lot of songs with those 3 chords. For instance, ROCK in the USA, What I like about you, Middle of the Road, Cherry Cherry and much more. In the band we take “Play that Funky Music” and merge with “I want to Thank You”. We also play a medley in the middle of “What I Got”.

I was on the Mike Tech Show and he played this song. It was an intermix of “Whole Lotta Love” and “War Pigs”. I was so impressed, I went on the Interweb to find this video. So here for you, I have Whole Lotta Zepplin…

Like that? How about Seven Nation Army is Made of These?

Maybe Some Rolling Stones Meet Temptations…

There are a lot more. I liked these three and thought we need a good musical distraction today. Rock Out!

In honor of the new Star Trek prequil trailer, we have this: A guy in London takes his flat (aka apartment) and turns it into his own Captains Bridge. Actually a “Voyager Style” Studio apartment, designed by Tony Alleyne.

What inspires a man to change his apartment like that? I suppose you could have put up some french pattern wallpaper or pad the walls with egg crate padding (like I did for audio). So why not Trekkin it?

Read more about the Apartment here. Complete with before and after pictures.

Star Trek comes out May 9th. View the Trailer here.

Technically, it’s about 3 minutes and 30 seconds. If you don’t go see a lot of movies, then this one is for you. Two guys spoiling 100 movies – old and new. I say it’s better than Cliff notes. No pricey movie tix – no popcorn in the teeth. Well, I suppose if you want to eat popcorn during that time, you can.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen a quality video up on YouTube. Not to say it’s been all “Guy gets hit in the Jublees” videos, but this one really showed us that there are independent artists out there that can produce high – quality work.

This movie is about a woman with Cancer. She creates a fictional world in where the Aviatrix fights the evil cancer.

It’s only 10 minutes (gotta love the YouTube restriction), but it says a lot. The video is well done and the graphics are also top-notch.

If you see one YouTube video this year… WHY? But nonetheless – watch this one. Also Check out the website – theaviatrix.com

Sometimes life just jumps up at you and slaps you in the face. Check out this news article about a woman who was arrested for wearing too short – shorts. Don’t forget to check out the ending of the news article….

The folks over at Dynamic Architecture are really at it. They have an idea that could really spin off. It is a turn in the right direction.

OK. Enough puns. If this Skyscraper is possible, then you will see a whole new idea in design. It basically is a bunch of pre-fabricated buildings on a spindle. Each level is like a blade of a fan connected to a turbine. The building spins and creates it’s own energy.

Is it possible? Can you get…. what would that be… if it’s Seasick for sea, then it would be Scrapersick, right? The idea is a pretty cool one. The best part is it makes its own design simply by how the wind is moving.

The rooms are Pre-fab, so the majority of time would be spent on building the center structure. Then, each room is shipped, lifted and connected. Turn it clockwise like a Carnie loading up the Ferris wheel. Each floor will get loaded up within 7 days. It apparently takes less work and even less workers to put the building together.

I have seen many versions of remakes using “Special” Characters – Movies in 30 seconds by bunnies, stick figures, ASCII. I have even seen Sock Puppet theatre before. Why not? It’s cheap to do – video camera, socks and a script.

Well in this version of Sock Puppet theatre, they spoof the American Classic “Animal House”. A great movie by John Landis and more important, celebrating it’s 30 years anniversary.

While this rendition didn’t have half naked Deans’ Wives, Playboy bunnies flying through windows or Supermarket shoplifting, it did do a decent job of portraying the movie. The Movie Critics add a little more humor to the bit, but the cameo by John Landis really made this movie.

So without further adeau, here is the video:

I hate it when I wear low-cut shirts and try to get out of a car or wave hi to someone and end up getting on the front page of the Sun or TMZ for “Popping out”. Then I have to go to my PR company and try and clear my name…

Ok, so I don’t have that problem. If I did, I think people would cringe more than publish. But I do know people that have this problem. So they use special items to make sure it doesn’t happen.

This high-tech item is called “Double sided tape”. Basically, tape to skin – tape to clothing. Of course it might not stick well and you are in the same dilemma, or it sticks really well and you get to feel a whole new version of pain.

Well, that’s where the Peek-a-boob Strips come in. Instead of tape to skin, it’s tape to clothing. It’s basically so those pesky button-down shirts don’t “Accidentally” unbutton. At least that’s what she told me last night.

I suppose this product is great for those who want to show off but not show off. Then again, a sleeveless Turtleneck is sometimes just as sexy…

In the spirit of the famous site that exploits the feline species. This video shows that Cats are just as much of a dork as the rest of us. This one likes those boxes that hold your favorite drink. It’s a fat cat, so I guess you could say that it’s trying to develop a six pack easily.

Anywho – Here is the vider.
