I have seen many versions of remakes using “Special” Characters - Movies in 30 seconds by bunnies, stick figures, ASCII. I have even seen Sock Puppet theatre before. Why not? It’s cheap to do - video camera, socks and a script.
Well in this version of Sock Puppet theatre, they spoof the American Classic “Animal House”. A great movie by John Landis and more important, celebrating it’s 30 years anniversary.
While this rendition didn’t have half naked Deans’ Wives, Playboy bunnies flying through windows or Supermarket shoplifting, it did do a decent job of portraying the movie. The Movie Critics add a little more humor to the bit, but the cameo by John Landis really made this movie.
