Check this out! Androp – a band from Japan – created this nice video with a lot of great lights. However, the lights were coming from an unconventional source. Yet, they worked in perfect harmony.
250 Canon 60D DSLR cameras were used to backlight the band. Yes, I said DSLR cameras. They created a wall, with several rows and on each row – a series of cameras strategically spaced apart. A little bit of extra wiring and Voila! A light system is born.
Well, not a cheap light system, anyway. These cameras cost $1,400 on their own. Just the camera – nothing else. So this wall cost at least $350,000. But now you have to add lens kits and flashes. Can you say half-a-million dollars?
