Google Plus Stupid Translator

I get a lot of Google Plus requests. I love adding people to my circles, but some of them I have to remove simply because I can’t understand what they say. Sometimes they speak in a language I don’t understand, but other times they just speak stupid.

I put together this little image to poke fun, and hope Google might add post translation features. Maybe not a “Stupid translator”, but something that could translate a post in Spanish or Japanese to English. Then I could follow and reply to people I might not be able to have a conversation with in real life.

Cooking with Testicles

All I can think of is the classic line in the movie Top Secret when Val Kilmer was sitting at the German restaurant and Lucy Gutteridge ordered the Pig’s balls. I knew in some countries these things are delicacies, but I didn’t know there were many ways to make them.

Well, this cookbook says it all. Learn how to cook, fry, deep baste, slice, dice and puree your balls to perfection. The Testicle cookbook is written by Ljubomir R. Erovic. It comes complete with many how-to videos, like the one below (making a Testicle Pizza).

Check this out! Androp – a band from Japan – created this nice video with a lot of great lights. However, the lights were coming from an unconventional source. Yet, they worked in perfect harmony.

250 Canon 60D DSLR cameras were used to backlight the band. Yes, I said DSLR cameras. They created a wall, with several rows and on each row – a series of cameras strategically spaced apart. A little bit of extra wiring and Voila! A light system is born.

Well, not a cheap light system, anyway. These cameras cost $1,400 on their own. Just the camera – nothing else. So this wall cost at least $350,000. But now you have to add lens kits and flashes. Can you say half-a-million dollars?

Pick Punch

Last year I got a cool business card from a music company. It was a plastic card; on the side, you could pull out the pick to use for playing guitar. I thought of all my old credit cards that could become better guitar picks than they have in the past.

Now my dreams are reality.

The Guitar Pick Punch is a way to make a pick when you don’t have any around. Just find the material you choose to use (especially those Bass guitar players that use a thick felt pick), place the punch on it like you would a stapler and press down. WHAMMO! A pick is born.

Shop Cool Material has the Pick Punch for $25, so it’s an affordable accessory for those musicians that want to do some experimentation with pick materials. It says the material has to be 0.80 mm thick, which is a slight disappointment, for it limits the amount of material you can use. But what the heck – throw in the balsa wood and see how that sounds on your brass wound strings.

Oh yeah. Don’t forget the guitar strings.

When getting into a star wars fight with another Jedi, always use the force. And a switch-saber can help, too. Lightsabers, saber-chucks (like num-chucks, only cooler) and some good old fist fighting is all you need with your homies to dispute some territory.

Shaycarl has been making some epic fights, but this one was from a galaxy far, far away. I suppose not every jedi saw eye-to-eye, which is why there was a dark side. I wonder if there was a “On the fence” side, too.

A QR code is also known as a bar code. It’s a way you can get more information. That is why the fashion industry is starting to incorporate – with Beaded QR codes.

Over at Fashioningtech.com QR codes are being used in Fashion. Looking a little like an indian garment, these QR code beads work in two ways – One as fashion and the other as a scannable code. You can then scan the code to get to the website or a special page with great deals on a product.

QR codes don’t have to be 100% accurate. I have done some QR mods to put images or names in the code itself.

So now the real question is – how will you incorporate your QR code into clothing and more?
