In the wild, there also are dorks. Here is the proof.

One morning, A Viroqua WI man awoke to find his concrete Elk statue lying on the ground. He went outside to investigate, wondering what punk kid was able to knock over the heavy stone beast.

Then, the situation had become clear. A short distance away lie a dead Deer. The 180 pound animal, in the rut, decided to challenge the Elk statue for male dominance.

So, Dorks do exist in the wild, they just don’t live too long. I guess that is natural selection for ya!

The Haizhu Bridge in Guangzhou, China has been smeared with rich, creamy butter to stop suicides.

Chinese workers covered the giant steel bridge with butter because officials are fed up with traffic jams caused by people who slow down to watch suicide victims leaping to their death.

A Government spokesman said “We try employ guards at both ends but that not work. We put up big fences and tell people not to commit suicide here. So now we have put butter over the bridge and it work very well. Nobody can get up there and anybody who tries fall down”

Since we put up the butter there have been no problems with these attention seekers

In one month alone eight people committed suicide on the bridge and numerous others had climbed up threatening to commit suicide before changing their minds.

The bridge guard said: “Each time somebody threatens to commit suicide to get media attention or sympathy over personal problems we end up with several hours of tailbacks and there were lots of complaints. Since we put up the butter there have been no problems with these attention seekers.”

From the local paper – Flying Monkey punches man.

A man dressed as a flying monkey from “The Wizard of Oz” sent a Halloween reveler to the hospital in critical condition after allegedly punching the victim over change at a downtown bar.

Well of course this happened at Halloween during the local festivities, but it’s still hilarious to hear about how someone in a flying monkey suit thinks they can be an actual flying monkey. It was more about the theft of some change.

Have to admit, it’s creative. This dork was arrested, though.

I just got an email saying that Dorkazine wasn’t working. I went to the site and it looked fine, however, after a little bit of movement around the site, I noticed that it was indeed – not working correct.

Since I was not in front of the main machine, I switched over to another theme.

Dorkazine is getting a facelift in the coming weeks, so for now, we’ll keep it in a default state until I can make the change. Sorry if this caused any inconvenience.

Art is in the eye of the Beholder. It doesn’t matter if it’s a painting or a macaroni sculpture. So why not take hunks of wood and make them into Art?

This, of course, is not a new idea. Tree art has been around for a long time. We’ve used wood to make everything – from tables to houses. We even whittle them to toothpicks and glue those together to make fun structures.

I found this site the other day. It’s called the Treeincarnator. He can turn those hunks of wood into anything. Including the Eagle on the nest in the picture.

So why is he a dork? Well, I always believe that the word Dork is not a bad connotation, but more of a badge of honor. You are dedicated to what you do and you do it well. You are a Dork. And the Treeincarnator is a Dork of Tree Art and the website of the week.

I don’t try and post 2 videos within 2 days, but when I saw this I was so impressed, it was an epitome of a Dork. These four… eh… one guy does the best A Capella version. Um.. wait – someone has done this already? The same group? Oh.

Overheard by a vendor at this show- ‘I’m sorry, we don’t have anything for girls.’

WOW! That was just… WOW! How could he? To diss the female dork?! SHAME!

Well, be that as it may, the other thing I heard… and heard a LOT… was how I was some sort of UberDork, because I knew how to operate my laptop and my Video camera, to film my report. So, as it turns out, I was quite a smart dork at the show!

There can be only one. Well, maybe more than one.

Want to know what to give your hubby this Holiday season? Why not tell them what should be said? YOU’RE A DORK! Or a nerd. While these rings are not going to be followed by marriage proposals, they will be great novelties to anybody who looks like Mr. T.

They are gold plated, so you probably won’t be able to melt them down for too much cash, either.

OK. So in a nutshell, I updated to 2.5.1 and imported all the posts. When I went over to the site – nothing happened. ACK!
