14 karat Gold LEGO Brick Costs $15,000 to Own

This is not your kids LEGO. Brick Envy has posted the 14 karat solid gold LEGO brick on their site for $15,000. The brick was a 25 year anniversary gift to some employee of the Germany factory. LEGO gave the gold bricks out between 1979 and 1981 (2 a year). That means this is 1 of 6 bricks. Since the price of gold is only $1700 right now, this brick seems to far exceed the value of it’s gold. This 25.65g brick is the shape of the 4×2 LEGO brick (or eighty as we would say in the LEGO hood)....
