Looking for some cool items for your home that the Jones’ don’t? Well how about a circular Bookshelf? How about a bookshelf that also lets you sit in it. The only thing we are missing is the Hampster wheel effect. Wouldn’t that be cool? You are running in the wheel, pull a book from the shelf and start reading. Well, that is if you can read and run at the same time.

Better yet, you could hook that wheel up to a battery and all of a sudden, your bookshelf is Green! You are reading more, you are exercising more and you are energy efficiant. Who could ask for anything more?

Well, let’s at least start with the bookshelf. Sit down – enjoy a novel. The price is not that bad, either over on APCI

Do you love Graphic Novels? Are you a Superhero buff? Well on August 25th, you might want to head over to Amazon.com to download the newest graphic novel from Mur Lafferty. I could go on about it, but I think Murs’ Website at http://www.playingforkeepsnovel.com/ describes it perfectly:

Playing for Keeps was delivered via podcast in audio and PDF form and will be available in print from Swarm Press August 25. It tells the story of Keepsie Branson, a bar owner in the shining metropolis of Seventh City: birthplace of super powers. Keepsie and her friends live among egotistical heroes and manipulative villains, and manage to fall directly in the middle as people with powers, but who just aren’t strong enough to make a difference. Or that’s what they’ve been told. As the city begins to melt down, it’s hard to tell who are the good guys and who are the bad.

Below is Episode 1 which is found at the website. It’s 37 minutes long and pretty darn good in this reporters opinion. It’s read by the author which she does a great job. Nonetheless, there is something about a book when James Earl Jones reads it. Maybe he is available. ;)
